Go walking or cycling in some of the best scenery the country has to offer. The Peak District is famous for its many and varied walks in all sorts of terrain to suit all ages and abilities. The National Park Authority Rangers lead more than 250 free guided walks each year, each with their own individual theme.
For the more energetic, there’s the Watersports Centre at Carsington Water, where you can hire canoes, dinghies and surfboards, or choose from rock climbing, caving, ballooning or gliding.
